Program as an Add-In.
- The CadParts Insertion Program is installed automatically from the CD
- The Library can be loaded on the user’s PC or on a company server
- The Insertion Program is activated by going into the “Tool” pull down menu within SolidWorks and selecting “Add-Ins” and then selecting CadParts
- A CadParts Fastener Icon appears on the SolidWorks Tool Bar after being turned on
- By selecting the Fastener Icon, the Insertion Program is activated
- A dialog box appears in the SolidWorks “Feature Manager”
- The Operator selects the Fastener from a pull down menu
- The Operator selects the edge/s on as many faces as desires
- The Operator selects OK and the fasteners are automatically inserted and mated
