The Bluebeam Stapler is a stand-alone application included with every seat of Bluebeam PDF Revu. This easy-to-use software application allows you to:

Users can access the Bluebeam Stapler drag-and-drop user interface by going to the Start menu and then selecting Programs > Bluebeam Software > Bluebeam Stapler

Take measurements (length, area, perimeter, volume, etc) and count from PDFs electronically. Bluebeam does all the work for you. Results are automatically displayed in a list that can be summarized and imported into Excel for further calculations.

After installation, Bluebeam will integrate into your AutoCAD and SolidWorks programs and install four buttons at the top of your interface. The first button converts your active SolidWorks file or DWG to PDF from your interface, automatically reading your drawing settings (color, scale, line weights, paper size, etc.). Bluebeam Revu will launch your PDF and allow for markup and editing.

Button Functionality

Create PDF
The Create PDF button allows you to easily create a PDF file from your open, active document or drawing (AutoCAD, Word, etc.). After clicking the button, a Save As window appears, allowing you to name and save the file. You can turn off the prompt for file name and Bluebeam will automatically name the PDF file with the same file name as the original.
Change Settings
The Change Settings button allows you to adjust the settings used to create the PDF for a customized output. In AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Office you can select layouts/pages, page size and color, create PDF bookmarks and hyperlinks, apply security settings and more. In AutoCAD LT, the Change Settings button launches the Plot settings window to change scale, plot area, paper size, etc.
Bluebeam Batch
The Bluebeam Batch button appears in the toolbars of AutoCAD and SolidWorks when installing CAD Edition. Clicking this button begins the 3-step batch wizard and converts any number of DWG or SolidWorks files to PDF, TIFF, GIF and any of the 11 formats Bluebeam supports.
Share PDF
The Share PDF button allows you to convert an AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Office file to PDF and share it via email or FTP in one step. Options include saving email templates, email distribution lists and countless FTP connections.

Bluebeam's File Access tab displays a list of recently opened PDF files that can be previewed or reopened with a mouse click. Pin and organize commonly used files by folder, or group by category for quicker access. To further streamline the way you work with PDF, Bluebeam integrates into ProjectWise and SharePoint document management systems so you can easily retrieve and check-in documents directly from Revu's interface.
